NICO Super Moderator
Keith was born in the south (Columbus, GA), but has lived all over the East Coast, for the last 10+ years he’s called Cincinnati his home.
Keith has work in the Optical Field for over 20 years and considers that a basis for his math, technical, logical and trouble shooting skills.
A NICO member April of 03, he considers himself a novice to most of the DIY hands on stuff. His strengths are in searching and solving, he also posts lots of pics.
His personal automotive history is not too deep, ’76 Vega Wagon, ’81 Cutlass, ’89 CRX Si, ’91 Civic Si hatchback and for the last few years ’94 Q45. He also has a ’83 Yamaha, but that’s only for sunny days.
He comes from a wealth of automotive history, as his Dad was involved in the NHRA scene during the late 50’s through the early 70’s. Which included being part of the “group of guys” that built and raced JC Sizemore’s GoldenRod, a wheel stand exhibition 55 Chevy Bel Air and Ferd Napfel’s “Stormin’ Bull”, one of the best known, most consistent 55’s of the era. Later they went on to run Street Eliminator with a gassed ’65 Vette and won the US Nationals. His Dad later went on to run the starting lanes with Buster Couch. Between that and being on of the first Service Managers ever for Bill Heard Chevrolet in Columbus, Keith comes from a long automotive background. Not to mention the numerous old-school Datsuns his older brother has owned/owns (510’s, 1600, ’68 pick up, etc), it was no wonder Keith found himself with an interest for automotive discussions and goings-on.
