It’s no secret that the staff here at NICOclub are big fans of the Q50, so we’re excited to announce that the Q50 Hybrid has been named one of Kelley Blue Book’s 10 Most Fuel-Efficient Luxury Cars for 2014. Ever since it was introduced in the premium sport sedan segment, the hybrid has not only set benchmarks in power and performance, but also in the area of fuel economy. This is exemplified by the fact that it achieves an EPA-estimated 29/36 mpg city/highway, while still managing to produce nearly 360 horsepower, which also makes it the most powerful hybrid on KBB.com’s list.
While the Infiniti Q50 Hybrid was primarily selected based on mpg ratings, it also won over judges with its premium styling, fun handling, exhilarating torque and Top Safety Pick+ title, proving that it’s no one-trick pony. Today, it’s considered one of the best-rounded hybrids in the nation and owners have been extremely vocal in sharing all the various aspects they love about the award-winning gas-electric sedan on social media and in forums.
The Q50 Hybrid’s success also lies in the fact that it appeals to a wide range of drivers. For example, its refined and relaxed ride is something that luxury buyers appreciate, while performance lovers are delighted by its responsive steering, nimble handling and outstanding acceleration.
Of course, Infiniti’s design teams obtained input from Sebastian Vettel, four-time Formula One World Champion, during the latter stages of engineering refinements. His performance-oriented influence, coupled with all the refinements and technological extras that Infiniti is famous for, has resulted in a car that’s raised the bar for premium sport sedans.
For anyone in the hybrid market, we’re convinced the Q50 Hybrid is an option that shouldn’t be ignored. Join other Infiniti Q50 owners in the Infiniti Q50 Forum!
